How do I kill Droajam, Mage of Sands in HM???
This boss is driving me nuts.
I have a nice build on my three Heroes that makes most of the map a walk in the park. But I get slaughtered by Droajam, Mage of the Sands, the Ele boss.
Please help!

- It helps if one of your party members has some interrupts to stop it from casting [[Sandstorm], which can kill a tightly packed group in seconds. A Ranger with [[Broad Head Arrow] makes interrupting this boss much easier.
- Droajam is accompanied by 3 other elementals, each of which is either a Sandstorm Crag or Shambling Mesa. If Droajam is accompanied by too many Sandstorm Crags, it is advisable to rezone through the southwest portal until Droajam's group has more of the less dangerous Shambling Mesas.
- [[Pain Inverter] is effective when Sandstorm is used.
- [[Mantra of earth] can reduce the amount of damage to you greatly.

If you're playing as warrior, get a hero to prot you, flag h/h back and take the initial sandstorm(s). Also flag heroes away from each other so the AoE doesn't rip apart everything.

MM + Pain Inverter.
Flag heroes apart ~ Call your attack & stick PI on him, Minions will get Sandstorm splashed on 'em and he will go boom.

A friend and myself just finished vanquishing Elona and started out a bit perturbed with the groups of Eles in various areas. As mentioned by several folks here, we found a minion master and Pain Inverter works wonders. Normally even FUN to watch . A little coordination helps also (each of you take a separate target or double up on problematic bosses). We even found this method helpful in Crystal Overlook where you may have to deal with 3-4 Sandstorm Crags or Ruby Djinns in the same group.
Also, as mentioned before, my Ranger is my title hunter and I always had a couple interrupts along with RTW, Experts Dexterity and some "lay the stank" shots in case I have to deal with ones we didn't have enough pain inverters for.
Good luck and if you need a human hand you are welcome to ping us (Lone Scout I ign).

Pain Inverter! That was it. Argh, I wish I'd known about that weeks ago. lol!
Thanks everyone. I have now Vanquished Elona.
Thanks for the offers of help here and by PM. Can't take you up on it. I play the game in secret (my wife would go nuts if she knew you see) so I have to switch the game off quick when she's close to finding me out. Haha!
That would suck for anyone else in the game. So I henchie/hero.
